This EP is a kind of ode to a past time. It was inspired by a period in my life where I was having trouble sleeping and would just exist through the night in a blanket of beats and rhymes.
It was when me and my better half first moved out and I had a real space to create, the first make shift studio, the birth of RawTalk.
A place me and my brother littered with scraps of paper, a fog like screen of cigarette smoke and stained mugs from too much tea , which would lead to the god awful ‘fluffy tongue’.

A peculiar place in time and to be. In this space we created so much material that never saw the light of day. Which is probably a good thing as at that stage I like to think we were ironing the creases out. It was a time me and my brother practically lived together yet had separate flats.
The nights were ours and our minds were free. It was an exciting time and the start of so much. I cherish the memories and hold them close to my heart and hope our lungs can forgive us for the abuse we put them through.
